The Luckiest Girl Alive is a verbatim puppet performance the follows the life of activist and campaigner Hoda Ali, in her epic journey across the globe as her family sought medical care from the dangerous effects of FGM. The performance premiered at Nottingham Puppet Festival 2018. At this Q&A Nikki Charlesworth will be joined by Hoda Ali, and they will discuss why puppetry was the medium of choice to tell Hoda’s amazing story and where the project is going next.
