Mahogany's giraffe puppets

Puppets are coming! Nottingham Puppet Festival will be taking over the city centre streets for a day of amazing puppet performances and parades.

You’ll see Mahogany Carnival Design’s spectacular costumes, watch Inspirate’s Ancient Giants in a battle between good and evil, enjoy beautiful storytelling at the Central Library, and get close up to By Our Hands’ handcrafted marionettes.

Our puppet trail from Sneinton Market, through the city centre, to Nottingham’s new Central Library will surprise and delight.

An informative flyer for the Nottingham Puppet Festival. The top of the flyer features the festival's name in bold, playful lettering on a yellow background. The event advertises a free city centre day on Saturday, 13 April from 11 AM to 4 PM. The flyer details various puppet shows and activities like 'Inspirate - Ancient Giants', 'Mahogany', 'The Search for Teddy Island', 'Charlie Comet and the Magic in the Attic', and more, along with the times and locations within Nottingham. Images of the puppet performances and workshops are shown, and the National Puppet Archive exhibition is highlighted. A footnote mentions a Puppet Cabaret at the Royal Concert Hall with tickets priced at £14. Contact details for the festival are provided at the bottom of the flyer."
