Blind Summit
Fresh from touring the USA and Denmark, after sell out runs at Southwark Playhouse and Edinburgh Festival, puppet masters Blind Summit Theatre will bare all in “The Sex Lives of Puppets” at the Theatre Royal, as part of Nottingham Puppet Festival 2026.
The Sex Lives Of Puppets is a snapshot of love lives in contemporary Britain, based on real life interviews, brilliantly performed ‘mocumentary’ style by a lifelike cast of talking puppets. These puppets have much to tell you: the thrill of illicit meetings, dressing up, the problems of dirty talk, the need for people to find you attractive, what really goes on in a care home. They tell stories of weird, wonderful, everyday sex. And there’s a puppet orgy and some “shadow puppet porn” too. It has to be seen to be believed!
Not so much ‘the birds and bees’, but more ‘the nuts and bolts’, this show explores every sexual position, and romantic situation. Some are funny, some are filthy, some are surprisingly tender, but in the end, of course, what the show is really about, is love.
The “F-word”… is “Feelings”.
